Presidents Cup qualification consists of 5 events for both teams. Players can achieve points from following qualification events:
Qualifying events for both teams:
- World Rankings (base of the qualification)
- Japan Opem
- Scandinavian Open
Qualifying events for US players:
- The Memorial
- The World Championships
Qualifying events for European Players:
- Copenhagen Open
- European championships
