Qualification
Qualification procedure
Presidents Cup qualification has 5 events for both teams. Regarding of a team (US/Europe) players can achieve points from following qualification events. World Rankings (base of the qualification), Japan and Scandinavian Opens are qualifying events for both teams. The Memorial (for US players) and Copenhagen Open (for European players) are early season qualifying events. Championships (Worlds for US players and EC for European players) will close qualification for Presidents Cup.
6 men and 2 women will be selected for both teams. Also each team must nominate 1 player as reserve player in case of injury or no-show. 5 men and 2 women will be chosen based on points. The team captain will have a captains choice of 1 male player.
